Merchants' Houses (pol. Domki Budnicze) are small renaissance houses dating back to the 16th century. The row of these unique colourful buildings is located south of the Town Hall. They were owned by minor merchants, who used to sell fish, candles and salt there. The houses were almost completely destroyed during WWII. After the war, they were meticulously reconstructed with all the renaissance ornaments. Nowadays the arcades house many little shops with gifts and souvenirs.
