Greater Poland Voivodeship (also Wielkopolska Province) is a voivodeship, or province, of west-central Poland. It was created January 1, 1999, out of the former Poznan, Kalisz, Konin, Pila and Leszno voivodeships, pursuant to the 1998 Local Government Reorganization Act.  Wielkopolska Province is second in area and third in population among Poland's sixteen voivodeships, with 29,826 km² area and 3.4 million population.
